Pros

- Able to purchase up to 2 weeks of holidays with flex dollars - 6% pension, 2% stocks "gift", and 4% contribution match to savings plan is one of the best in the business

Cons

- Totally disorganized implementation of SAP accounting system, still in shambles - HR department not helpful with resolving issues - Some really great younger talent that deserves to be promoted, but have to wait until someone quite or retires to get recognized - Drilling and Completions departments have very low morale - Once a good project gets identified Devon has a way of stepping in and over-complicating and over-managing it, thereby taking away the ownership from the workers

Pros

- Medical, Dental and Vision insurance available day one of employment - 401K matching - Dedicated to healthy lifestyles - Friendly, family atmosphere

Cons

- With so many employees, sometimes it's hard to get lost in the crowd and not know who to speak to regarding a situation.

Pros

-Bonus -Ability to purchase vacation time -Valuable work experience -Good Values! Devon wants good people!

Cons

-9 hour work day (imposed 1 hour lunch break) -Poor management in some main departments, no sense of open communication or leadership (you will seek them out, not the other way around) -Sniper method of firing people -Opportunity to advance if someone passes away, retires or is fired. -10% opportunity to use your real skills and knowledge -lots of gossip (mainly due to the fact of poor leadership by management and leaders)
