Pros

They have free health insurance and pay is decent but still not the best.

Cons

Company starts out by making you believe they are different and they really care about their members when they only care about numbers. They say their employees are like “family” any work place that says that is toxic and means they just want to use you for what you can provide them and that’s exactly what they do. I was told my position would be helping patients get their medications refilled or providing them resources to get their medications when in actuality it is a call center. You are required to make a certain number of calls to a member a day and those calls only count if the member answers their phone and they only count the first call you have to them, meaning no additional calls to the same member count. If you do not hound the members to get their medications refilled even when they have enough and say no you will get in trouble. Each day you have to have a certain amount of people agree to filling their medication and if you don’t meet it you get in trouble. Actually if you don’t go above their goals you get in trouble. Leaders micromanage everything you do. You can do everything they asked and they will still find a way to nitpick it instead of appreciating your hard work. One time I had a 30 minute break in between my calls and my leader made me getting observed and retrained because I did not call anyone for 30 minutes even though I was solving a members problems with their medication. Unless you are part of the in crowd you will always feel left and lost. Change happens all the time and everyone is expected to be happy go lucky about it and smile when you receive no directions or training on it. They do not care about you or their members they only care about their numbers and quotas.

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review and for sharing your feedback about your experience at Devoted Health. We are happy to hear you enjoyed our competitive health benefits and pay. We’re sorry to hear that you feel there was a misunderstanding or misrepresentation of the Medication Adherence/Pharmacy Technician position from the start. This is never our intention and we are sorry you feel this way. We understand that calling our members can be challenging at times. Our goal is to ensure that our customers receive the best possible service and timely communication regarding their prescriptions. However, we also acknowledge that the repetitive nature of these calls can be demanding. We consistently work to streamline our processes to make them more efficient and less repetitive, while still maintaining the high level of service our members need and expect. We regret to hear that you felt micromanaged in your role. Our aim is to foster a culture of trust and empowerment, where employees have the autonomy to complete their tasks effectively. However, we implement goals to ensure the highest levels of quality for our members. We acknowledge the importance of adequate management training, and our goal is to ensure that every team member has access to the necessary resources and support to excel in their roles. We appreciate your observation and feedback in these areas. Again, we are sorry to hear your experience was less than optimal. We take our internal culture very seriously and take strides to ensure our employees are heard, respected, and trusted. We thank you for your feedback and in turn we welcome the opportunity to speak to you more about your feedback. If you’d like to continue the conversation or discuss your experience, please reach out to Head of Clinical Pharmacy, Justin Bioc at jbioc@devoted.com.

Pros

Remote work, decent benefits, great coworkers

Cons

After 2 years with Devoted, I am overworked, underpaid, and have no motivation to stay with this company. Devoted does not value its experienced frontline employees who are integral to the functioning of the company and a pillar of the Medicare product. I joined the company with a strong educational background and 5+ years of experience and was advised during my interview there would be opportunity to grow here. Unfortunately, Guides are viewed as uneducated, problematic, robots who are only valued for their metrics. When I share my opinion or provide constructive feedback, I’m immediately met with all the reasons why I’m wrong. When I was promoted to the Senior Guide role after 1+ year of high-performing metrics, I received a measly 8.5% ($2) raise. In addition to this, the work became much more stressful. Devoted management may be devoted to their members, however their actions show they are not devoted to their frontline employees.

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We’re happy to hear that you’ve enjoyed the ability to work remotely, our benefits and your colleagues here at Devoted during your time so far. We regret to hear that you deem the pay and your recent raise as unsatisfactory. We offer a salary and benefits combination package that together is very competitive with our competition and within the market for customer service teams and we’re sorry you feel this way. We’re sorry to also hear that you believe our view on Member Service Guides is negative. It is without a doubt that we view and build out the MSG team with the notion that it truly is the heartbeat of our business and why our members undoubtedly trust us, refer their friends to us and continue to re-enroll year over year. Your contribution as a Member Service Guide is immensely impactful to our team, our mission and our members. We value our Member Service Guides, and at the same time, we hold them to high standards as a group when it comes to metrics. This not only allows us to offer superior service to our members but also ensures that we remain in compliance with service level rules and regulations established by the federal government. We recognize these regulations do create some limitations within this role but we have built in other benefits and a stress reduction programs to support our guides on a day to day basis. Lastly, we’re sorry to hear that you feel you have not been heard. We have multiple means for our guides to offer their feedback, including 1:1’s with their leader or on monthly surveys, in periodic focus groups or in annual town halls. We recognize that all experiences and perceptions vary and would very much like to continue this conversation to hear your feedback about the above concerns you have. If you would like to continue the conversation as well, please reach out to Michelle Mulcahy, Director of Member Service Guide at mmulcahy@devoted.com.
