Pros

Dewberry is large enough that you can have opportunities to grow.

Cons

As in any larger company, the conditions vary from division to division and even within the divisions. It all depends on the manager. Some are very good and others are very bad. Unfortunately, upper management seems oblivious to poor managers and rank and file moral. As long as the money is coming in and they get their bonuses, there’s no reason to change anything.

Pros

They made it sound like I was getting hired into a family environment. They were giving me training opportunites I not not recieved with my past employeer, who I was with for 9 years.

Cons

I was, completely out of the blue, fired one day. I had never had an evaluation. I was brought in half way thru a project that was horribly over budget and I was let go. The person training me was the persons whose job I was taking over. It seemed like a conflict. That person is still an employee there.
