Pros

This is the only placement agency in the Lansing area with a bench policy.

Cons

Bench policy comes from mismanagement of current and poor insight into future opportunities. Politically charged environment that is more about who you know than what you know. Promises of future opportunities and growth are just tools to get you in the door and will likely be ignored or forgotten.

Pros

Great place to work. Company values their people. Profit Sharing. 4 weeks PTO the day you start work. Competitive Salaries. Good benefits. Company has a lot of Company funding employee events throughout the year. Pays for parking (it can cost up to $1,200/yr to park in downtown Lansing).

Cons

As we grow, not only do we need to hire skilled people, but we should do our best to find leaders that want to keep Dewpoint culturally the same and not make it the place they left, just because that's what they know.

Pros

DewPoint to me wasn't a regular company. They cared about your personal life. I worked at a client in the city of Lansing. I drove nearly 220 miles per day for a commute to work I had car issues during my first few months of employment and they kept me on. HR is always trying to get the 'dewpointers' together for fun.

Cons

With the client i was at I was told i would be within the IT Infrastructure. The client had a rebuild and i was forced into the NERC-CIP role which i didn't want. I left due to the travel and the situation with the client. I brought this up to management a month before i started looking for other possibilities.
