This is the definition of a soul crushing job. In the years I have worked there, almost all of my coworkers have been extremely depressed with their jobs. The company is small but you'll see at least 2 or so people leave every month. Alot of people leave after less than a year. There are also many instances where people just walk out within a week of being hired and just never come back. It's that bad.
This is mostly because people aren't valued at DiCon. Management makes it very clear that employees are expendable. The style of management here is to pinpoint anything remotely wrong and never reward a job well done.
Another huge issue is that job responsibilities can become really vague. It's a small company and because so many people leave, the remaining employees are often left to handle everything. Of course, these employees are never compensated for doing extra and they just get taken advantage of by DiCon.
All this means that most of the talent moves on (who wouldn't if they had a choice?), and the company is left with people who don't really care and are just there for the paycheck. Things move really slowly with the company because alot of those people don't care to do their job to the best of their ability and because of the shortage of people.
