Pros
Organized software development lifecycle, good employees will get noticed and be given leadership responsibilities, friendly co-workers, working long hours is very infrequent and working conditions are not too stressful.
Cons
Strict HR policies, especially relative to other software jobs in the area. Management is paranoid about employees. They keep a close eye on what time people come and go, monitor internet activity, have a dress code, etc. There are no regularly scheduled pay raises. Depending on what team you're on, you may not get broad engineering experience.
