Cons
After 6 mouths, everything changed. Lacking support from home office. Leadership turnover is incredibly high due to the toxic culture condoned by the executive director. Inappropriate behavior and condescending comments are tolerated from management by the home office. Any voiced concerns are viewed as negative and ignored. The concerns included massive leaks in the ceiling, broken a/c in a resident room during a heat wave, staff burnout, no hot water, etc. The ED refused to come in during a police investigation for physical assault between staff. Maintenance requests are ignored until HUD inspection. The companies main focus is buying more properties while lacking attention to current communities and keeping rooms full at any cost. Bonuses are given to executive directors and marketing, but not nursing. Underpaid. Overall, a very unprofessional environment.
