      Going though a needed transformation .. some teething pains

      Pros

      Core business of PKI and certificates is a cash cow. Company has been around for a while and has a lot of customers who renew. Generally an easy sales motion if you are engaged with your customer. Support and service is very good. Customers generally renew and good opportunity to upsell them exists. Company hired new CEO last fall. He has brought in a lot of energy and high growth mindset, pushing new products and changes which are needed but the company is not accustomed to. Our overall brand and visibility has improved. Lots of focus on execution and pace has picked up. When I joined 2 years back there weren't new products, now we have a lot more to sell. Company is investing in hiring, new offices, etc.

      Cons

      Big changes were implemented in the sales organization. We had 2 separate teams that were combined. Some of the accounts I had nurtured were assigned to others. Gained some, lost some. Lots of new systems. Need more enablement on new products.

      Good pay and some smart people

      Cons

      Too political and not a real security company. It is sales focus and they have zero investment into their own technology. Customer outages are too frequent with the sales team holding the bag to face off with the customers. The senior sales management team has lost sight of what the roadmap is and where they want to be. This company could do well if the right management are in place, but that will never happen.
