Pros

Only pro I can think of is the ability to work from home, which is available with every SaaS company now, so not much of a perk.

Cons

*Generally low morale. *Compensation plans change as often as the currency value of a Third World country. *Acquisition of random companies that are never integrated in any meaningful way, leading to disparate business lines and no cohesive product, despite attempts at branding it a platform. *Company has turned woke, so everything is focused on race and gender now. To make matters worse, this is being pushed from the top, but in a most disingenuous fashion, so everyone can see right through it. Unfortunately many feign caring about this, which only compounds the ridiculousness of it. *Firing of employees who allegedly mattered clearly shows that the business can't sell externally whatever it's trying to sell internally. *Support, which used to be the best in the industry, is now a standard-issue, outsourced pedestrian experience.

Thank you for sharing this feedback. We do appreciate how much change there has been at Diligent recently, including strategic acquisitions we’ve undertaken to help us achieve our leadership position in governance, risk, compliance, and ESG. We’re very focused on integrating our solutions and teams as seamlessly as possible so that we can bring to market a unified platform for our clients. Any complex integration process can present inherent challenges, but we’re laser focused on continuously improving wherever we can to get things right as best we can. Our clients’ needs always come first and have been the main driver of our ongoing efforts to transform our business. The changes we have and continue to make have been in direct response to their feedback on how we can better serve and support them. We know that hasn’t always been easy where there have been impacted colleagues, and we have done everything we can to meaningfully support those employees. However, we do believe that the steps we’re taking are the right ones to grow and scale our business – which benefits us all in the long-term. For all our team members, we also strive to demonstrate our appreciation with competitive total rewards packages that factor in competitive dynamics, performance and reviews, and more. We are also proud of what we’re doing to uphold ESG commitments within our own company and to protect our planet, give back, and move the needle on diversity, equity, inclusion, and intersectionality. We are sorry again to hear your perspective – we never want to feel like there is more we could have done to support any team member, and we hope that you shared your concerns with your leaders and managers while you were here. Thank you for your contributions to Diligent, and we wish you luck moving forward. - Avigail Dadone, Chief People Officer

Pros

Has mirage of successful company

Cons

Senior leadership and executive team are perched in their own fantasyland. Mass exodus of good people by will, along with the 20% laid off during re-org. Pay widely different among same job titles and experience. Peak fakeness from the kool-aid drinkers still lingering around in management. Millions spent on consultants to help with re-org and training, both of which have been pathetic. The attempts at integration have been futile. Cross functioning teams that were merged are total train wrecks, with most senior managers unaware of the products their team is supporting. Sales team is lifted by 1 or 2 large deals a quarter allowing those reps to hit target, while others effectively are at <20%. The sales that are made likely won’t be implemented since CS org is in total disarray.

Thank you for your honest perspective. While this is a difficult review to read, we appreciate you sharing so we can take learnings from it. We fully recognize the impact our recent strategic initiatives have had on our teams. Throughout the process we’ve acknowledged that change is never easy and worked hard to support our impacted team members. It’s critical to emphasize that our strategy has undergone intensive planning and preparation with a core focus: ensuring Diligent is best positioned for sustainable long-term growth. We’re doing this by working closely with our employees around the world, and improving our operations in a manner that’s best for our teams as they grow. That means keeping our clients central in everything we do, reinvesting in our solutions, and implementing comprehensive training and integration programs. When we do this, everyone benefits. We’re already seeing significant positive effects leading to strong organic and inorganic growth, and we’re continuing to build out our teams in centralized geographies for optimal collaboration and client impact. At the same time, we strongly believe every team member should feel they are fully supported and sharing in our success. We have long been committed to providing highly competitive compensation packages and rewarding our teams for the many contributions they make to Diligent. We truly cherish the varied and unique backgrounds and perspectives our global teams bring to the table, so we are committed to hearing each person’s feedback in order to improve. It’s very important that we communicate with every employee openly and consistently – and strive to do our best in this regard. To that end, we encourage you (confidentially if you wish) to share your feedback directly at hrconfidential@diligent.com. Thank you again for sharing. - Avigail Dadone, Chief People Officer

Pros

Give you money you want (somewhat) and thats it.

Cons

BIG TIME POLITICS. People have weak emotional intelligence and get ANGRY fast. They need a small REASON to blame you and that too quick. Small things are MADE to look like its the end of the world. You have to be a super politician to survive in this company. Dont take my word for it, Join them and stay there for 6 months. People are leaving every month and you know the reason.
