      Entrepreneurial Culture; Scale to Execute Big Ideas

      Pros

      Company full of self-motivated, driven team members who go the extra mile. We work hard, but tackle hard things and there's so much reward. You're empowered to take on big projects and go as far as you want to go. Often those projects get you exposure to execs like I've not seen before at a global company of this size and scale - enabling you to learn from the leaders directly.

      Cons

      A startup tech culture (even though it's a bigger company) isn't for everyone. People who are successful at Diligent are excited about the challenge of big growth and big opportunity and think that's what makes it fun. Sometimes, however, there is a mismatch of expectations.

      Good company to work for

      Pros

      Nice offices, work in London which is a great space but have travelled to NY office and it's a nice space there too. Good team environment, social events, christmas/summer party are good and held in nice locations. Interesting changes with the product, good investment in product in marketing, acquisition growth - if you like change. Good salaries.

      Cons

      Communication could be improved between regions, spend more time having phone calls and meetings than just emailing to ensure everyone is on the same page.

      Hostile Work Environment

      Pros

      There are some great people (none of the execs would come close to making this list).

      Cons

      A corrupt and hostile working environment where there is a complete divide between "regular" workers and Upper Management/Executives. I reported to someone who regularly came back from lunch intoxicated and no one cared. There is zero regard for employees feelings or claims. Another post said it perfect, a lot of claims and allegations are being made and nothing is being done. HR is a joke. They turn issues back to employees and do nothing to help situations when they arise.
