Pros

small employee discount, they don't fire

Cons

not sure where to start -The management is horrible. Constant lectures, always changing direction leaving us to redo work 3 times sometimes and extremely micro managing. -mean girls -low pay and if you ask for a raise or negotiate they practically laugh in your face -the nepotism is CRAZY. You will never advance far in this company unless your last name is Dillard. Even if you are an expert in the field they will promote a Dillard to be a president over you. -no windows in the office and its extremely dusty and moldy -working until 6 everyday was BRUTAL -BAD PTO!!! When you accept the job you are told you have 10 days of PTO and then on the first day of the job the handbook tells you that you cannot take a PTO day until 6 months in and you will not get anymore PTO days until 10 YEARS at the company!!! You also don't get MLK, presidents day or MEMORIAL day off! -literally all of the employees are unhappy and hate working there

Pros

None Dumpster fire Stressful Awful

Cons

My review on dillards for LinkedIn 🤣 If you’re looking for a job that claims it’s not commission-based but still mysteriously shaves a dollar off your pay when the tumbleweeds roll through the store, then congratulations—you’ve found your match! Raises? Oh sweetie, don’t even dream. People leave this place faster than customers do (and believe me, there aren’t many). The turnover rate could qualify as a world record. HR? Couldn’t tell you. They don’t post a number, and management treats it like a top-secret hotline. You’d have better luck contacting a celebrity than reaching corporate help. And the store itself? Imagine a mall ghost town with fluorescent lighting. If you enjoy being held responsible for “low sales” in an empty building, this is basically Disneyland. As for the workplace drama? Let’s just say the rumor mill works harder than anyone on payroll. The vibes? Dumpster fire chic. In short: if you want stability, professionalism, or literally any sign of life—keep scrolling. If chaos is your love language, welcome home.
