I got terminated and got treated unfairly as an employee in din tai fung. I've worked so hard in their poorest station but i ended up getting terminated by managers who have personal opinions about me. This boh manager who got moved to another location has planned everything along to get me fired. I had a no call no show due to emergency that i wasnt able to work that day, thought i was able to work that day but emergency happened, called them two hours later but they still gave me the final warning. NEVER offered me any paid sick leave and i've never used my paid sick leave ever since I started working here. Discrimination: Other coworkers were given several warnings and even several suspensions when they had negative attendance points. I got deducted because of my emergencies, when i should be given a second chance, they terminated me instead of giving me suspension. They NEVER warned about it nor given me suspension, the last attendance points were also days off with proper reasons, I gave them the reason the week before i took the days off, still got deducted and got fired after the second day i went back to work. While working here i got close with a few coworkers, i heard this manager assumed I'm a pick me girl and he checked up my social media and judged me behind, while being nice to me in front of me. It's very unprofessional of him to discuss my personal business and assume my life, which I'm nothing like this. Another manager scheduled us but gaslighted us so much if we wanted to take days off, even with proper reasons. She'd ask you to find covers but still rejected the covers that you found because they're new hires. She'd threaten you and gaslight you that you're so lucky to be able to work here, but still gave you a very hard time to work on your schedule. I have my personal life and I've always been on time when I go to work, got terminated because of those few times that emergencies happened and i wasnt to work, texted manager hotline but they (Henry and Andrea) didnt care at all. Reported this to hr about discrimination but they didnt even try to listen to my perspective that i got treated unfairly in this toxic environment. HR is also not responsible to hear my voice when i first reported them about harrassments because i got harrassed by managers here. Overall: This place is very toxic and they really dont care about employees. i shouldve known its a red flag when they kept hiring people, because they kept firing people and treating everyone differently.
