      Not sure what is good here

      Cons

      - Management can definitely be improved. Not all but a lot of them do need to have their ears pulled. - It appears that they demote engineers but protect the managers. I found myself asking why is this 'marketing' person an engineering manager. How did this happen. Well with no technical foresight then it is the blind leading. - Overworked group. I had a co-worker pass away... too much work.

      Pros

      Great benefits, Amazing training, schedules are posted 4 weeks in advance. You have break empowerment. There are many opportunities to advance.

      Cons

      Very small raises. Your job is based on customer reviews. You are constantly critiqued on what you could’ve done better no matter how hard you try to satisfy the customer. You are required to keep your calls no longer than 3 minutes but some callers want to review every transaction they’ve made for the past 6 months.

      Pros

      None they list a bunch but they don’t follow through you have to remind them month after month to get something done. This company will treat you as a throw away and not in the normal pay your dues way

      Cons

      Too many to list to be honest had to leave the company because they could not change my schedule even though they already promised they would do me and my 6 year old were without income for a little thank goodness I saved my money but Discover does not care AT ALL about its employees work/life balance as they call it
