Pros
All of the sales assistants are more or less right out of college and great people. Discovery works hard to hire good-quality people and it shows.
Cons
Recent grads looking to do something creative within the advertising world--this is not the job for you. You are merely coordinating slots in which commercials air in a very antiquated and confusing computer program--nothing else to the job. The job is unfulfilling and quite stressful if you are not a computer/math-minded person. Depending on your clients and networks on which you work, your hours can be unruly. But it's the luck of the draw. I found many sales assistants did not necessarily like what they were doing, but were merely "sticking it out" until they felt they had been at the company for a substantial amount of time, or something better came along.
