Pros

The residents were a blast, fun, loving and always caring about their care givers. Most of the staff were pleasant to be around. But that's about it

Cons

The schedules were never on point, you ended up working whole weekends by your self with orientation employees to train and still take care of all of your duties. The level of stress your put under, over worked and never paid correctly.

Pros

I went into this expecting it to be like any other company I've joined, and boy was I wrong. This company is unlike anything I have ever experienced. The culture is something I've truly never seen in previous companies I worked with - you have full support from not just your colleagues, but from your leaders as well. Since joining the team, they have invested in my growth and truly make me feel like I am appreciated here. I recommend everyone I talk to to join Discovery Senior Living and often send their job openings to close friends. I'm grateful to be a part of an organization that truly is people-first.

Pay for Performance, but high pressure

Pros

Pay for performance company. They definitely will compensate you well if you continuously hit your goals. Lots of competitions throughout the year to make additional bonuses.

Cons

EXTREMELY high-pressure company and very metrics based (duh, this is a sales role) but, to the point that they lose the personhood behind it and it is really easy to feel like a number rather than an appreciated member of the Discovery family. LONG hours; lots of evenings and weekends if you really want to hit goals
