Pros

What can I say? What I like most about this job are the meaningful patient interactions. This job allows me to interact with lots of different people and often help them in their greatest time of need. I feel that it’s my life’s mission to help others. This is my life’s calling and if I’m well compensated in the process than that’s just a side bonus. Not everyone’s experience will be as great as mine but if this is your calling like it is for me I don’t think you’ll have a lot to gripe about.

Cons

The PTO policy could be better but besides that I don’t have anything to complain about.

Pros

Best pay in the city in my humble opinion. I worked with a variety of partners which kept things interesting. You never know what the day will have in store for you. Some days are exciting. Others are a little slower paced. The longer you work here the more you get into the flow of how things work. It’s great exposure for EMTs whether you’re new or old.

Cons

I love what I do and I do what I love. Enough said.

It’s not as demanding a job as you may think from the outside looking in. The vast majority of the time the job is fairly chill. You get to see some cool and interesting things after you’ve gone on enough calls. If you’re looking for hot and heavy action maybe you should look elsewhere. If you’re looking for something more laidback, maybe Ambulnz is the place for you.

Lack of PTO until a year of employment.
