Pros

Some of the other EMTs are cool

Cons

They will randomly schedule you on days that you don’t work and threaten you if you don’t come in Management only cares about billing so if your chart doesn’t bring them the highest income they will tell you to lie on it Every holiday is mandatory even if they pretend they aren’t Bonuses are never paid on time if at all The job builds bad EMT habits Such high turnover that you will never have a consistent partner There is so much turnover that the company doesn’t even bother trying to build loyalty so they treat you poorly and don’t care if you quit PAY IS NOT COMPETITIVE!!! THEY LOVE TO SAY THAT BUT $22.50 IS NO LONGER A COMPETITIVE RATE FOR THE FIELD

Pros

Some new vehicles, easy to get hired, slow call volume so alot of downtime, pay rate is above average.

Cons

Recent change in management has brought a poor work enviroment, current managers are unorganized and unethical, poor benefit packages, worn out cardiac monitors, rude dispatchers, schedules come out last minute and keep changing.
