A Hot Mess

Pros

Very good product. Good Customer Base

Cons

The title really tells the story. The product is very hot but the company is very poorly managed and poorly run. They are way overstaffed in marketing especially when they outsource so much. Product development is wasting its time on connectors that are pretty useless (Sugar, MS CRM, etc). If you join this company as an Account Executive, you're making a big mistake. 70% of the AEs are not making their numbers. The only ones that are in the financial services vertical and those "guys" have been protected for years. Look on the salaries tab on glassdoor...I assure it's very accurate. Seattle and San Francisco are not cheap cities and making that in a market where other companies will pay you much better seems stupid to go here. I was sold on how much money I was going to make a DocuSign and now realize it was a lie. Sales Management is immature and inexperienced. Everyone in Marketing is either a Director or a Manager and most of them have no direct reports. Previous reviews that use the words "Frat House" and lack of "Integrity" are accurate

Thanks for your review. I think you'd find it a much different company today. Our partnerships with MSFT, Salesforce, SAP, Apple, Google as well as our API developers are driving growth. We have made great strides in enterprise sales with some sizable wins. It's very exciting -- the momentum is building. We lead with integrity and anybody who feels we don't lead with integrity can raise issues with senior management who take steps to make sure we do by getting people in line or showing them the door.

Pros

Plenty of room for professional growth. A lot of room to differentiate and get noticed. Great culture. Hard working, helpful, and friendly employees. Solid product you can feel good about selling.

Cons

Demanding work. Management expects a lot, but at least doesn't breath down your neck. That said, good compensation when you meet your goals.

Pros

Huge market, committed and energetic sales leadership, amazing colleagues and very strong compensation. The product is constantly improving and career opportunities present themselves fairly regularly. I'd recommend the company to anyone looking for a high performance, achievement-oriented and very fun environment.

Cons

Other than pricey downtown parking rates and the typical challenges that come along with a high growth company, I can't say I can add too much to the list of cons.

I hear you on parking rates. Ouch. Thanks for recognizing some of our companies strengths -- the market, the people, the leadership, the comp. We've come even further since you wrote this review. Thanks again for taking the time to write this.
