Pros

Great coworkers, friendly atmosphere, competitive pay rate, and open desk space makes for a fun working environment where people can interact with each other.

Cons

It's almost too open, and people can just join conversations and interject their opinions whenever they want to. Other than that its alright.

Pros

Free lunches occasionally. The newer people in the company have good personalities and care about improving the work environment. New equipment and office make it pleasant to work. I felt like I could leave work and not have to worry about it until the next day.

Cons

"This place is complete chaos" - VP "There are worst places to work" - VP "Hire slow, fire fast" - CEO -Don't know when to hire and when to stop hiring. -Knee jerk business decisions resulting in wasted resources and defeated employees. -None competitive wages. If you do manage to negotiate to be paid well, don't expect to keep working there for very long. They will replace you with another warm body. - 1% yearly raises if you're lucky. $65 yearly bonus, you betcha! -Employees are afraid to be seen taking a lunch break. -Marketing team spends 90% of their time putting on a facade to convince people this is a good place to work. The facts speak for themselves. -Lousy product they only care about when a client is screaming or negotiating contracts. -Management will tell you anything to get you hired. -High turn-over due to all the above. Friday's are the "restructuring" days when they get rid of people so the CEO can live like he runs some Silicon Valley Blue Chip with his luxury cars and private jets.

Great company to work for

Pros

My chosen career path does not include an ever-upward climb through levels of management. I prefer a path that keeps me in the trenches, doing the craftsmanship that I love. The company understands and respects that path, and provides me with opportunities for growth, and a strong feeling of contributing, while not pushing me where I don't want to go. My opinion is valued, and my ideas are always considered, and often implemented. I have a good working relationship with all of my co-workers. We are friendly and get along well. The occasional, inevitable, conflict is quickly resolved. There is virtually no politics, and because mistakes are generally seen as learning experiences, when one inevitably occurs, I am incentivized to own up and fix it, rather than throw someone else under the bus, or expend time and energy trying to save my own neck. It is a family-friendly environment, where home and work life are expected to stay balanced. While there are times when extra hours are needed, they are not the norm. In many cases, too, I am free to adjust my schedule around dentist appointments, etc. The pay is competitive, and beyond that, the perks are awesome. We have weekly catered lunches, free soda, coffee, etc. (with listening ears towards reasonable requests). We have an annual summer party where the entire family is invited, and an annual Christmas party for the employee and a guest. There is even a tolerant, even cheerful, attitude toward the not-infrequent Nerf wars that take place.

Cons

-- The desk layout is aimed towards collaboration, which unfortunately also means that it's difficult to tune out distractions. -- With the rapid growth we are experiencing, its hard to learn everyone's name.
