Pros

- Open to good ideas to do things better - Focus on best practices - Nerf battles - Friendly work environment - Helpfulness is promoted - Understanding management when your personal life gets in the way (ie. you have to go home real quick to take care of someone/something) - lots of company parties - All you can drink soda, coffee, tea, hot coco, apple cider - Agile - I work here (this is a plus for everyone because everyone loves me) - Always trying to be better and make our lives better - Spike ball - Basketball (a little kid hoop) - Foosball( in the breakroom) - A nice breakroom with industrial refrigerator, 4 or 5 microwaves, tables and chairs, a 70 inch wide screen tv, and an additional refrigerator for soda - Remote in if you are sick or need to recover from surgery if you work it out with your manager and it makes sense - Team bonding activities with a budget - HSA option - 401k is good - PTO is 15 days for people who have worked here < 3 years. That might be a pro for some or a con for some. - Treats every Wednesday - Restrooms are always clean - The office is usually pretty clean... you will find nerf darts and rival balls though - People are easy to work with - NO over sea office, coworkers, and NO outsourcing. American company. American employees. Period.

Cons

- All you can drink soda, coffee, tea, hot coco, apple cider - Treats every Wednesday - Waiting on 4/10s or 9/80s. Hopefully it happens soon :) - Need to pay a small premium for the HSA (other places pay it for you) - No employer contribution to HSA

Pros

All employees are friendly and willing to help each other out, and the business itself is relevant and competitive in its industry. Tons of information to learn and engage yourself in, and there is flexibility in the schedule to help accommodate you if needed.

Cons

There is a lack of extensive training in some cases, and the pace can be drudgingly slow at times. The latter can be a positive though to help you catch up on other responsibilities if needed.

Pros

Eye Candy. Docutech goes to great measure to make the company look like a great place to work. You've seen other reviews talk about the Tuesday and Friday lunches brought in. They try to provide a good workspace with dual monitors for more effective work. The benefits are reasonable, but not great. But most of these benefits are a fresh coat of paint over a decaying structure. Docutech has a unique and potentially explosive position in its marketplace, except for its leadership. I genuinely enjoyed the people that I worked with, although all of them had the same pit of uncertainty in their stomachs. This was a job I had hoped would be a career.

Cons

The Leadership. The cancer starts at the top. The CEO has no integrity. Two or three of the top executives have little more integrity than the CEO. Because of this, Docutech has risen and fallen at least three times in the past. There seems to be a glass ceiling because of this. Docutech has a rigorous hiring process. They aggressively look for people who will fit the culture. What that really means is they look for people who will not really challenge the status quo. While I was there, they hire constantly and laid off constantly. I saw at least six very qualified individuals brought in who had strong professional experience, but because of this, they recommended actions that challenged Docutech's strong-armed tactics. Within a year, all of these people had been laid off. A few long-term employees just said enough. This type of management style trickles down to most of the mid-level management. Oh, if you look at the positive reviews, anything 4 and above is probably a paid review. Look at the style of writing. They will be bullet points of great things but no emotional specifics. You can tell the difference. The real rating for this company is probably around 2.
