Pros

Dollar Tree is a good place to work for if you are just starting out. If you do not have a criminal background then it will be easy to get hired (as long as they have an open position available)

Cons

One major draw back is the payscale. Most opening positions start out at minimum wage regardless of expierence and is also part time 10-15 hours a week. Assistant managers usually start out at under $10/hr. And even those are considered part time at 20-25 hours a week. The hardest job for the store manager to deal with is the lack of labor hours given to him/her to run the operations of the store. Store managers are required to work 47.5 hours a week (salary 35k-55k) but are often force to work 60 or more hours a week to make labor by cutting thier hourly emplyoees and working thier shifts instead.
