Pros

The only good thing about this company are the bonuses. Nothing good about working here-NOTHING!!!!!!!

Cons

Poor working conditions. Your scheduled 48 hours salary and they make you work over 60 hours. The store appearance has horrifying conditions. If someone doesn’t show up you have to work a double shifts. Lazy employees. Bad locations to work in. No time for family. You live there.Supervisors don’t know how to treat their employees . Always threatening their jobs. Dirty work conditions. Bathrooms are never clean. They give you a store to run that is a sissy to start off with. They harass the employees. They put you in a store where the customers speak another language and you are told to use your phone to translate. Pay sucks except for bonuses. Your check is broken down by vacation and sick time.Employees are very lazy. Show up when they want to and are always late.Cant ever get a hold of the Corporate office. Never pick up the phone. I repeat do not except any job from Dollar Tree. They should be shut down due to horrible working conditions.Management only thinks about themselves.Making sure they chew you out first to cover there butt.

Pros

-decent holiday schedule -More than 10 vacation days (personal days included) -one floating birthday holiday -negotiable salary during hiring process (if you're confident you're experienced and worth what you ask for)

Cons

-Value retail companies like Dollar Tree do not hire or provide enough staff for the volume of work -Work life balance is not respected nor prioritized -Intimidation/threatening tactics are used by management -Holidays are the worst time and work volume is unsustainable and management feels pressure from higher ups and do not listen to the needs of employees -Transparency is not valued or respected with supervisors and their employees -Project management systems are outdated and not efficient which in turn creates a inefficient workflow -Merchant's opinions are valued above most other departments and more entry level employees are punished for merchant mistakes and oversight
