Pros

Average to good fringe benefits, family friendly, flexible employer. Large growing portfolio of products and a large client base gives room for employee movement.

Cons

The culture leaves a little to be desired. Company is infected by toy managers - high school kids with no business experience hired by college chums and promoted in such fashion. If you have patience and little ego, this workplace could be a fine place to study the Peter Principle, except that upward movement is not predicated on prior success. Stagnation awaits those older than 39. Wage opportunity is limited.

Pros

I'm assuming there are some pros to working at Travel Media Group, but I am unable to recall any. Here's one: Their Checks never bounced (yes.....it was so bad the only positive was that I was paid on time).

Cons

Terrible leadership team, embarrassingly low market penetration, horrible product offering, rude co-workers, forced after-hours company team building, lack of understanding of rudimentary marketing techniques, dated comprehension of digital media. If you have the misfortune of interviewing with this company, be sure to keep your eyes opened. Take a look at the employees.....they all have the look of puppies at an adoption shelter....but one with a high kill rate (artificial hope).

Pros

Relaxed work environment. Able to work from home when available. The work/life balance is good. They do have a decent insurance package.

Cons

Completely behind the times in both thinking and technology. No sense of urgency in any phase of business. Completely content to trudge along. Only focused on bottom line numbers and will not put any effort into improving the business. Only way to get ahead and advance is to either be "grandfathered in" or kiss the right behind.
