Pros

Residents were great. Hired with little experience. Learning on the fly

Cons

Management outside local office was dreadful. Abusive to people, knowing we were already overwhelmed. Never seemed to be happy, no matter how hard we worked or how much we got done. 2 people cannot do all the work in a 100 unit complex. Severely undrstaffed

Rewarding but dealing with low life tenants can be challenging.

Pros

I get to do what I love to do. Fix things for people. And I get paid for it. Nice to get a little time off, too.

Cons

Dealing with people with entitlement attitudes can be difficult. Some people don't take care of their apartments. I mean really trash them. But I suppose that's job security.

Good training is provided at Dominium University Online. Regional Managers are supportive check in regularly with the properties. Employees can self nominate for positions within the company

Cons

Far too many reports are required; it is impossible to fire someone for poor job performance; the senior partners seem out of touch with the reality of tax credit communities and the people who reside there
