Waste of my Time

I have nothing positive to report about this company.

Cons

They stick you in an office for 8 weeks and require you to memorize (word for word) a scripted 25 page long presentation. Management is a joke, however they think they are superior to everyone. They have no customers and no marketing and their office furniture is falling apart, all of which lead me to believe that they are having money problems. The management does not care about its employees at all and are egotistical, arrogant and unprofessional. This is not sales, it's memorization! To top it all off, they put a video camera high up in the corner of your office by the entry door and record you doing your presentation without the customers consent. They also have an intercom system, where they eavesdrop on your presentation with your customer. Again, without the customers knowledge or consent. In summary, in 35 years of sales and sales management I have never seen such a ridiculous sales organization and process. Do not waste your time.

We appreciate your feedback and are sorry you feel this way. Our process, although not exactly what you have described, is one that works. We have many sales representatives at all of our properties who earn six figure incomes. The video taping is for training purposes to help you achieve that goal. This process helps employees improve their presentation skills and allows you to identify your strengths/weaknesses and be aware of things that you may or may not be doing ie body language, etc. In regards to the point you made about marketing, we have entire teams dedicated to our marketing efforts. These teams market and qualify leads so that you don't have to start from ground zero when you begin. This is the main source of tours. Without our Marketing Team there would be very few tours at each property. That is not the case. As far as the furniture is concerned we are in the process of replacing it.

Pros

I worked with a great team of people that were more like a family. They taught me how to work the system to maximize my personal profit. Challenging atmosphere which is great for the person who is up to the challenge.

Cons

Low Pay and expensive benefits. Very corporate culture with no regard for how changes effect the little people. More concerned with profit that making the employees happy.

Without happy employees there would be no profits. We care about each and every person. We have an open door policy and look forward and encourage our employees to come to us with new ideas. As far as our benefits are concerned our insurance broker has done comparisons with like companies in the area and our costs are consistently ranked the same or lower than our competitors.

Cons

EVERYTHING. If you aren't a VP then you are considered nobody important, even tho everyone underneath the VP's do all the work. Not 1 VP has a degree. "Small town" type of business mindset.
