Pros

Great Benefits - parking on site

Cons

No opportunity for promotion. KPI process is set up so employees fail. Salaries could be more in line with non-defense profit companies.

Caustic HR Environment

Pros

The people are generally high caliber and good to work with.

Cons

Starting very early 2020, the environment in one part of the company has become caustic, both internally and externally. Area leadership sees Programs and Engineering as support organizations, and has created a contentious relationship with them. Despite this, several Principal Directors were recently promoted to VP, demonstrating what Draper truly values in its leadership: arrogance, contention, and disingenuousness. Update: I scored "Compensation and Benefits" high because they currently are very good. But Draper leadership is constantly trying to find ways to whittle away at the benefits, without considering the impact it can have on morale and retention.
