Pros

I really enjoyed that most people I worked around were nice. Exciting work always happening, and great access for networking. The location is great and is central to all the academic areas.

Cons

The pay wasn't the greatest compared to industry standard for my career field - security/DoD. But other than that, there are really not any negatives that come to mind.

Pros

It is an excellent engineering company with a strong academic culture. With the strong academic culture the company is always encouraging you to continue to learn both an educational environment as well and hands on job training.

Cons

Since it does have such a strong academic culture they are not willing to always look at candidates that are more qualified for position (with proven track records) because they do not have an advanced degree.

Pros

Outstanding technical talent across a broad range of disciplines. Many highly motivated young engineers with a large contingent from MIT. Senior Staff and well experienced managers from high tech industry manage to pick challenging technologies with a strategic value to the united states and the military in mmost instances. It can be a very exciting place to work if you are personnally motivated to achieve. Excellent and broad IRAD investments every year, though focused on areas of selected high leverage importance.

Cons

Difficult place to get to if you live outside the city. In need of infrastructure imporvements to match up with the big companies like Raytheon, Lockheed, BAE, Northop, boeing, etc.
