Pros

Free lunch. For the most part low stress. Used to be a lively fun place to work with great projects.

Cons

Arrogant execs marching the company off a cliff. Bad decision after bad decision by upper management. Archaic proprietary software. ZERO room for promotion or raises.

Pros

The work is fun. The people are nice and always willing to help out. people aren't as competitive as many places in the industry.

Cons

There is a lot of wasted work due to poor management. There is also a trend of shipping work off overseas to be done for cheaper in India, China. Mass layoffs are becoming more and more common.

Pros

Very human place to work, with progressive attitudes about employees. Management is amazingly transparent, especially Katzenberg. Fun and moderately glamorous projects to work on. Lots of booze to keep the troops happy.

Cons

The old guard is very stuck in their ways, slowing the adoption of more efficient techniques. Dreamworks gets no respect when it comes to awards. Not a good place if you are borderline alcoholic.
