Pros

Tight-knit family culture Beautiful campus Free, quality food in the commissary

Cons

While the perks are great, the company struggled financially with a string of misses at the box office in recent years and mismanagement. Free food, above-market salaries, and a bloated management structure cannot be justified in that environment. With the acquisition by Comcast NBCUniversal, it will have to go through some painful cultural change that will disappoint many loyal employees (that includes possibly discontinuing free food), but ultimately it will be for the better good of the company. I know that the new owners are serious in turning the business around and will invest heavily to bring it up to Pixar's league.

Pros

Lots of responsibility and upward mobility, free breakfast and lunch, opportunity to work with other departments, great collaboration within the workplace

Cons

Some micromanaging, and occasionally disinterested from management, there is also a tendency towards competition in some departments, and problems between coworkers took lots of time to address and fix

Pros

-Amazing talent made up of some of the smartest, most creative, wonderful people you have ever met. -True family atmosphere - Great benefits including free meals, onsite doctor, free exercise classes - Beautiful campus - Ready access to senior leadership including C-suite. - Commitment to developing talent within as well as seeking best talent outside. - Many employees have been at the company for 10-15+ years.

Cons

Since it's acquisition by Comcast Universal it has changed tremendously. The communication chain is incredibly broken. Despite what we were first told, it isn't clear that the new leadership values the talent at the studio. -Massive layoffs with potentially more coming. - A lot is unknown about what the company will become and what the productions will be.
