Pros

Pay is good when you get the additional 35k inbonuses. off on Sundays.

Cons

Annual merit increases is only 3%. No real coverage when you need time off. If you ask for time off, then the other manager has to work from open to close. Retail hours and you have to work on Saturdays. Once you get to GM, there isn't much more growth within the company unless you want to go to another state. Regional manager is never around (may be a good thing). Horrible at recruiting. you have to hire your own team even though we have a HR dept.

Pros

The pay potential is great. Customer interaction is fun and interesting. You learn a lot about automobiles for personal use.

Cons

The management styles required for promotion are not experience or productivity in position driven. The upper management are verbally aggressive. Stores are typically short staffed due to high employee turn over. This causes current employees to have to work longer hours that they are not thanked for.

Fun Place to Work

Pros

The people there are all fun to work with. The majority of the employees are highly intelligent. They are willing to teach, and willing to adapt. My favorite part was the collaborative environment, or SCRUM set up. The entire office is open, allowing you to easily communicate with anyone, from new hires to directors.

Cons

There seems to be zero job security. They fire people without notice or fair warning. You could think you're doing just fine and they let you go. This problem is worst in the IT department. This rapid turnover makes it difficult to move forward with projects.
