Pros
There's lots of work to be done which means that there's no shortage of opportunities to learn + grow. There are companies where your trajectory is limited by design -- Dropbox is not that. At least in my experience, managers across the company are invested in your growth and will do what it takes to give you exciting opportunities.
Cons
I don't personally see this as a con, but here are a couple things you should evaluate going in: > are you prepared for virtual first? Virtual first is fantastic in many ways but make sure that you do your research in advance. (I swear this isn't a company-sponsored post, but a great way to get a sense for what's it like is to listen to the Dropbox podcast "Remotely Curious" where they talk about a remote / virtual working environment -- also look at #lifeInsideDropbox) > is a fast(er)-paced company for you? ('fast-paced' has become a dirty word recently, but I wouldn't automatically associate 'fast-paced' with 'zero work life balance'. At least from my own experience, managers are invested in your work life balance, and while we all have deadlines, managers have constantly encouraged me to take time off and prioritize what matters)
