Pros

Getting free blowouts is the one and only good thing about working at DryBar. Management is absolutely terrible and shows favoritism.

Cons

This company does not care about the employees. Horrible to work for. This company runs on race and favoritism, has to be one of the absolute worst companies to work for.

Pros

Good connection with clientele. Good place to pick up extra shifts when they are needed. You can meet some awesome people.

Cons

There's honestly nothing to say about this place but HORRIBLE. the company itself is a joke. They only care about how much money they are making each year. They don't bother to appreciate who really makes that happen. WHICH IS US THE STYLISTS. without us drybar wouldn't be anything. I have been with this company for 4 years and not once have I ever gotten AT LEAST a "thank you for working with us" from the egotistical owner Alli Webb. Met her a couple times and has no care for anything or anyone but herself. We get little to no pay, 4 years of a 45min commute for 10.75/hr. So basically the worst sweat shop anywhere. You will get no hours, no commission(due to their new policy). So if you like working for nothing, come work here. You will be expected to scrub toilets, clean their frames with qtips and toothbrushes, scrub baseboards, pick up dead rodents from the shop. Worst place to work. Only reason I stay is because I have a steady clientele and I get to basically come in whenever I want to or not. Other than that, DO NOT WORK HERE. better off at a hair cuttery.

Pros

HR is amazing. The salon IS very accepting of different personalities/styles in terms of they love crazy hair, and piercings and tattoos and different clothing fashions.

Cons

Your fellow stylist are a bunch of "mean girls" with bad attitudes, your pay is horrible for how hard they work you with OFTEN not have any break all shift even on doubles or maybe ONE 30 minutes on doubles, doing 7-8 clients in a row without having a minute to use the bathroom, drink water, take a bite of food you ordered 4 hours ago, bartenders steal commission and tips, its constantly under staffed and people wait 15-35 minutes for blowouts on a daily basis so not only do your clients already have bad attitudes but it takes the bartenders almost the whole blowout to grab their drink. Some stylist are SLOWWWW so you will finish your 6th blow dry while other people are finishing their 3rd so you are working twice as hard for the same pay and same break time.
