      Great Company Culture

      Pros

      Duck Creek Technologies was staffed by phenomenal people. The company grew quickly and opportunities for advancement and growth abounded.

      Cons

      In 2011 the company was sold to Accenture. As with most changes, both this new phase for the company presented both positive and negative aspects. I left the company shortly after the sale due to a new opportunity in another industry. However, many of the peers I knew who remained reported that the sale to Accenture changed the culture - that it was still a good company to work for but not "great" as it once had been.

      Not a lot anymore...some nice people and generally well-intentioned co-workers.

      Cons

      Organization is demoralized and underfunded. It's a terrible fit being a software company in a large IT services firm.

      It was a great company, lots of good benefits, and a great bunch of people to work with

      Cons

      Accenture bought us out, and now the environment has went from a great startup to a big corporate giant, with lots of inflexible rules, and things just are not as much fun to do as it used to be.
