Overall decline in the company

Pros

The production employees seem to care about the product they are building and want to provide a quality product to the customer. Supervisors for the most part are equally fair throughout the company, with few exceptions.

Cons

Engineering staff is lackluster. They range from bordering on incompetence to highly aggressive and hostile towards the production staff. There is an air of superiority, even if they've never done anything similar to what they are over. Management has started treating the production employees and support staff as number and no longer as people..

Rookie-level Management at best

Pros

Very good people who really care about their work. Fairly good salaries depending on your position. Average benefits

Cons

100% Terrible management at the corporate level. They have no pulse on the market they are operating in, how to grow business, or what it takes to become anything other than sub-par to average. The top management far too conservative to innovate in a manner that will yield long-term growth. They cow-tow to the stockholders and have zero backbone. There is not a leader in the entire organization. The mid-level managers (particularly at the Director level) are utterly useless. They have less of a backbone then the corporate senior staff which creates an environment where, under no circumstance will they advocate for their employees or a strategy that is complimentary to growth.

Pros

Plant management engages employees on a personal level and makes changes based on overall improvements to help the employees and process operations. Plant management keep employees informed which help in the overall moral.

Cons

Corporate leadership needs to get out in the plants to understand how their directives affect those in the plants.
