Pros

A great clinical team who provides excellent care for their patients.

Cons

Poor support for the clinical team. Poor leadership with a bunch of yes sir types at the leadership level not advocating for their staff. Unrealistic expectations of the staff. No incentives.

Pros

The people are great to work with, while they last.

Cons

Duke does not fairly compensate employees. I've worked at Duke for 15 years and my rate of pay is below the 25th percentile of the range for my job title. The only way to get a reasonable pay increase is to leave the company and return later, at which point you can re-negotiate salary. Also you have to pay (a lot) to park.
