Duke hides behind their name

Pros

You are a " Duke Nurse." Whatever that is suppose to mean

Cons

Terrible place to work. You get paid similar to McDonalds employees. They hide behind their name and do not appreciate their staff. Not eating a lunch is standard as management does not look out for your wellbeing. Additionally they promote " service over self." Making sure the patient is happy under any cost. Even the nurses safety.

Pros

Culture is easy to handle. Benefits are good (healhcare coverage is excellent, as are the retirement offerings)

Cons

No real promotion or raise or bonus opportunities. Compensation is low for the industry.
