Thank you for sharing your experience with us! We are excited to hear you mention the resources we provide nurses who have recently graduated as they gain confidence and skill during the transition from student to professional. We offer many development resources, including the Specialty Nurse Intern Program, New to the OR Training Program, Professional Nurse Assistant Program, and the Nurse Residency Program. New nursing graduates hired by Duke Health are automatically enrolled and participate in our Nurse Residency Program where they engage in a support program that begins during their first week of nursing orientation and runs for the entire first year of practice. Know that we are now offering a compensation increase for all clinical nurses, including new grads. If you have any additional questions on compensation, please feel free to reach out to us at recruitment@duke.edu.
