Pros
As a flex agent, you have more control over your schedule you can pick up and drop shifts easily. However, when picking up shifts, you have to be in the same tier as the person whose shift you will pick up, and it can't overlap with your current schedule.
Cons
Although I am listed for 20 hours a week as a flex agent, I am lucky to get 4-12 hours a week, especially when it's slow. Peak season is the only time when I can expect to get the hours I am listed at. Although, I will probably be expected to work nearly full shifts during that time.
