Pros

Operators on the floor are real heroes. Most of them want to improve the quality of their products. The company is an expert in his industry. Former Top Management team and former President were the best of the best. They implemented managed a wonderful family culture. A lot of diversity. Decent benefits

Cons

Mid Managers have a lack of accountability. They are always in the firefighter mode, they never have the time to listen to their reports, and improve their processes. Mid Mgrs have very low formal education and managerial skills. Losing a lot of talents and subject matter experts every year. Very high turnover Low salary, no competitive with the current market Some Directors are raised and promoted to their max. level of incompetence due to lack of fresh blood Business is not growing for many years

Pros

Free gym membership, conveniently located off I-84, paid lunches, paid weekly, time off.

Cons

Poor advancement opportunity unless you are going to college and poor raises. Health care not 100% covered. Overworked and underpaid for the job title, might as well be shipping and operator. Non-union at will employer, in other words you can be terminated whenever and however they see put. Break times are short despite the lunch's being paid. Overall, much better jobs in the hudson valley area but still not a bad stepping stone if you are young and inexperienced.
