Like many employees here, I came in large part for the mission: free language education for the world. It feels great to work for something that is truly meaningful to me. I also came here because the opportunities in online education are so exciting: we can develop and iterate on new and more effective ways to teach at a much larger scale than was ever possible before. On top of that, the team here is top-notch, on par with tech giants like Google and Facebook. Anyone who has used Duolingo can tell that we have a stellar product team. Lastly, Duolingo has a great culture -- it's a really fun place to work.
