For minor routine surgical admissions this is where you want to be. The Taj Mahal of hospitals and big patient satisfaction drive. Hospitalists traet you as a member of the team - that was my favorite part. On rough nights the hospitalist would brew us a pot of Starbucks, brought from the doctors lounge. And bring it to the ICU.

Cons

Unrealistic to expect people will not die there. If you are really sick go to Lutheran Hospital (adults). Don't mess around here. ICU is more like a step-down so you lose experience and get rusty here.
