      Cons

      No company is perfect. While we grow and evolve (in an ever changing, nuanced space) it's important not to get hung up on what's wrong but focus on what is happening that is right and the progress in actions that support that. Tech startup can be stressful, challenging and chaotic at times but what we're building and allowing others to do makes the chaos worth it. The future of Dutchie is bright.

      An Amazing and Fast Paced Place to Grow in Cannatech!

      Pros

      Excellent Benefits, Equity, Annual Salary increases based on performance, Flexible PTO, Empathetic Management, and Strong Team Culture. One of the greatest aspects of Dutchie are the people who are building it. Although we are assigned independent projects, a very strong team culture works together to help get the hard jobs done. I am always learning and growing! The company promotes inclusivity and education through its ERGs. There is an opportunity to grow within the company, and hard work is rewarded always. My manager never gives me a hard time about taking time off, and they are always encouraging us to find a work/life balance.

      Cons

      It was tough between 2022 and the first half of 2023, after we restructured the company and had layoffs. Having been with the Company since 2020, and the former leaders were projecting to the employee base a much different perception of where our success was going. A lot of things factored into the restructure, and the new leadership worked hard to get things under control, in a very transparent way. I definitely feel the stability more these days. From an implementation perspective, cannabis is a very wild, and unpredictable industry. You have to be ready for fast-moving projects, and also projects that sit for months with no movement due to state issues.

      Our people are by far our greatest resource, and have helped create a workplace culture focused on inclusivity, belonging, and building each other up. Restructuring the team was a difficult decision, but one that was necessary to ensure we remain more committed than ever to our mission and our customers. It may be wild at times, but there's no where we'd rather be than here in the cannabis industry - striving toward our mission to create safe and easy access to cannabis, while ensuring we are delivering impactful and innovative solutions for our customers.
