      Favorite company I've ever worked for!

      Pros

      Dutchie is truly a great place to be. It's really the first job where I've actually felt *heard*. Every job starts out great and slowly slips away from that honeymoon phase. When I started at Dutchie, I was constantly asking myself "ok, when the jig up?", because it almost seemed too good to be true. Dutchie truly sticks to their values and constantly holds themselves accountable. Our value of 'Be direct with empathy' could no be any more accurate. Your managers will listen. Their managers will listen. Being able to go to your superiors with a critique or suggestion and knowing that it's not going to be just swept under the rug is truly something that I do not take for granted.

      Cons

      Albeit I don't see this as a con myself, you need to be ready for change. The tech world is evolving on a minute-to-minute basis, and so is Dutchie. How you're doing something today could be 100% different from how you're going to do it tomorrow. Embrace the change.

      Current opinion on working at Dutchie

      Pros

      You learn a lot in a short period time. There is always an opportunity to learn something new, which makes the work day more interesting. The people here are also nice to work with. Great communication.

      Cons

      It is fully remote which can be nice but I miss the culture of working part time in person

      Pros

      Fun blossoming industry. Really cool team members. We move very fast. Very progressive company pushing for cannabis reform.

      Cons

      Since the cannabis industry is so young, volatile, and ultimately still federally illegal, we have to make big changes all the time. This can be hard to get used to. Also no 401k match.

      Thanks for the review. We’re continually adapting and evolving as we approach complex and sometimes unpredictable changes in the industry. We absolutely agree - if there is one constant, it’s change and it's exciting! We are always seeking to improve communication to improve alignment and have implemented bi-weekly huddles, monthly Q&As, roadmap sessions, and other cross-functional opportunities to stay connected as we navigate changes on behalf of our customers.
