Current leadership is very direct and transparent, benefits and time off are great, the culture and people are awesome, ERGs are unique and supportive. Dutchie is growing in maturity but still knows how to have a good time and get stuff done!

Cons

Layoffs last year were brutal, most DEIB activity is driven by volunteers

Thanks for the review! Our Leadership team continually looks at how we’re communicating with our employee base to keep everyone aligned. We are very grateful for our Employee Resource Groups - they drive belonging and community at Dutchie, and have helped shape the Dutchie culture we enjoy today. Our 2024 plan includes an expansion of the budget for these teams and new management led programming to support their efforts. We agree that Diversity & Inclusion efforts are incredibly important, and have invested in company wide training on a quarterly basis that covers topics like unconscious bias and allyship. We track our D&I efforts and share a report annually with employees. This is absolutely an area in which we will always look to improve and to invest more.

- Dutchie is a leading company in the rapidly growing cannabis industry, which provides a lot of exciting opportunities for growth and development. - The team is smart, talented, and dedicated, and there's a strong sense of camaraderie and teamwork. - The work we do is rewarding because we're helping to shape an industry that's changing people's lives. It's not just another tech company. The mission is bigger than that. - Despite recent challenges, the company remains optimistic and determined to succeed. They care deeply about the customers they serve.

Cons

- There have been multiple layoffs (like many tech companies right now) and the departure of original founders, which has led to some low morale and uncertainty among employees. - Dutchie scaled very quickly and made a few mistakes along the way so some of the correction has been challenging. That said, it's progress to a new path forward. Note: Ross Lipson is no longer the CEO. Most reviews below are updated and no longer relevant.
