Pros

The people at Dwyer are very friendly and create a very good environment to work in. The benefits are very good. They provide a good medical plan, retirement plan, vacation time is a good amount, and other benefits that help.

Cons

I was the only one in my role, so I didn't have a lot of help in my position. In the end of my career with them they didn't have any work for me.

Pros

Discover the Exciting Evolution of Dwyer Instruments: Where Change Is Our Middle Name! Join our team and witness the captivating spectacle of transformation at Dwyer! Since our delightful rendezvous with private equity, every day has been an adrenaline-fueled adventure into the unknown. Bid farewell to the quaint charm of directorial decision-making; here, our beloved financial consulting services reign supreme, orchestrating our every move with the precision of a maestro conducting a symphony. But wait, there's more! Say sayonara to the outdated concept of vertical integration – we've tossed it aside like yesterday's news. Why bother mastering the intricacies of our own supply chain when we can simply outsource it to the lowest bidder? Supply chain issues have never been a problem and solely relying on foreign companies ensures exciting part shortages in the future, all while displacing jobs in the United States. What’s better than that!? And speaking of thrilling games, who needs a competent engineering workforce when you can have a surplus of overpaid executives? Yes, you heard that right! We've trimmed the fat from our engineering team and replaced it with a flock of highly paid decision-makers who excel at, well, delaying decision making to the point where there are no decisions to be made! So, if you're ready to embrace the exhilarating environment of progressing in a specific direction, then hop on board! Because who needs stability when you can have a front-row seat to the greatest show on earth? Cheers to progress!

Pros

Some of the people that are actually left after losing so many with extensive knowledge.

Cons

Poor upper management decisions. No longer ANY job security. I'll be shocked if more plants aren't closed in less than 5 yrs. Took away many of the benefits that we used to have. Upper Management will lie to you. Corporate doesn't care about good employees.
