Good pay, poor management

Pros

If you're a contract hire and billable, you can get a good salary and benefits. There are also some great mid-level and corporate staff there who I admire and still consider friends.

Cons

If you want a career path and a place to grow, this is not it. The company is actually multiple business lines (staff augmentation and subcontractor task support to large businesses) under one roof. Lose billability on the staff aug side and bye bye. Have a large business teaming partner client say they don't like working with you (when in many cases it's a difficult client) and bye bye. There is ZERO career path opportunities with this company.

Still a work in progress.

Pros

The 401k plan, pay and flexibility with schedule are definitely a plus here.

Cons

Not enough TRAINED management. Just because you do your job well does not make for a manager/supervisor. Also there is a VERY high turnover rate here.

Pros

Good money, and the overwhelming amount of available training was great. The ARRA money was probably behind it, but the experience was fine. The job furthered my Safety career. E2 support and site jobs are different things, but kudos to the E2 employer

Cons

Few Cons, except getting used to much stricter policies and oversight at the nuclear campus. Coming from a manufacturing background, it was odd not being able to see widgets being produced in any fashion. Very procedural mode of operation, but that is required due to the nature of the work done at the site.
