Pros

- There are some really interesting, hardworking people at this company (though they tend to leave due to low pay, lack of upward mobility, and bad management) - Pay for high-level employees is high, if you don't mind getting big paychecks and pricey perks while the employees at the bottom who help you be successful struggle to pay rent - Physical DC office is attractive and has nice outdoor space - At the associate level, you will learn a lot of entry-level skills (though perhaps at the expense of your mental health) - You have extra time off for doctor's appointments or to exercise - Free food semi-regularly

Cons

- Toxic work environment where lower-level employees are mistreated by management and low-paid. Management is aware of the pay issue but has done little to none to fix it. - Employee concerns are inadequately addressed - Frequent turnover - Associates/coordinators are treated like second-class citizens and don't see the rewards of the value they create - "Clique" behavior and being left out of social functions - Lower-level employees are under staffed and thus overworked - You are promised upward mobility but this is rare. Hard work and dedication are not rewarded with commensurate money or promotions at the lower levels

Pros

EAB has a really flexible work life balance as well as other great benefits. Many people work from home and do community service.

Cons

The pay is significantly lower than other companies in the area (the amount of PTO is the same as well). Some managers seem like they were forced to become managers and it is pretty clear as they don't give much thought or effort toward individuals within their team (career growth, 1-on-1 meetings, consistently working from home while being hard to contact and/or communicate with, etc.). They also place recent graduates in teams that need help over the new hire's preferences. Teams are very understaffed so there are always priority issues as there are always pushes for new ideas and features. Communication between departments are also not the best which may block work from being done.
