Pros

Variety of techniques and clients to work with. Lab colleagues fun and good to work with. Some management were positive and respectful.

Cons

Salaries are average or below for the duties you complete. Most people are performing tasks a position or two higher than they are titled or payed. GMP work was messy with management twisting quality to make exceptions to meet client desires. You are rewarded for good work but an excess of that task to complete endlessly. Quoting and management treated lab staff as a button to press for more data and revenue. Safety was not important with no EHS staff. Safety measures were an inconvenience toward getting clients data sooner.

At EAG, we take Safety and Quality very seriously. In fact, we have declined job requests because management considered the materials for testing to be too risky/potentially hazardous. We have on-site EHS, as well as at higher levels of the organization. High quality work and a strong Quality system is very important at EAG. We continue to invest in new tools and resources to improve our systems. With respect to salaries, we use local market data to ensure competitive pay rates.
