Exposed to a variety of sample types. Flexible schedule.

Cons

Had some great years but no rewards. Many had high hopes when Eurofins bought EAG, but the benefits are worse. 401k match is better 3%. Used to be just $1800. No stock purchasing.

There is always growing pains associated with a buyout. As you noted, some benefits improve, and some do not. Overall, being part of Eurofins allows us to take advantage of economies of scale, and provides additional financial resources to continue to grow our business.

Dear former shipping and receiving employee. I am sorry that we failed to communicate to you your value to the company, and how working with our customers' samples is a critical part of our infrastructure. Due to the sensitive nature of the samples that we receive from our clients we accept that you are working in an environment where you are monitored very closely, and this can initially make people uncomfortable. One of the challenges we face is working with a diverse workforce from entry level to a highly educated scientists. We try to compensate this with things such as the “We Know How Awards” that some of your team members have won due to excellent service. That being said, different people have different needs and expectations out of their employers and where they choose to work. I wish you the very best in your future endeavors.
