Working in a College Library

Pros

Working in a library is one of the best experiences of my young life. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Every part of the experience was enriching, my boss was interesting and the job itself was both easy and fun.

Cons

Sometimes it can be pretty dull in the library when no one comes in for hours on end. There is still plenty of stuff to do though.

Pros

ECPI has a great benefits program. from PTO, FSA, 401K, Dental, medical, tons more than my last job. The pay is above average for me.

Cons

ECPI, like most companies, has a budget. Unfortunately, when new equipment is required it exceeds the budget and never gets ordered. But this is just a minor annoyance, not really a con.

I can't find any reason.

Cons

Worst working environment. Low salaries for faculty. Very expensive health insurance. Disrespect to faculty by upper management. Stay away from this place.
